    At the age of 9, Carson was given a loving nudge into musical theatre. She was apprehensive at first, but after a summer of singing and dancing in Alice in Wonderland, she was hooked! Since then she has appeared in The Music Man and The Little Mermaid, always alongside her little sister, Kyra. She sings in programs at her church and with her school choir, and plays the piano and violin.

    Matt got his community theater start when the whole family decided it would be a fun holiday activity to be in GCRC’s 2009 production of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Since he’s appeared in Dream Your Dream: The Buffalo Jones Story, Man of La Mancha, The Goodbye Girl, A Christmas Carol, Clue: The Musical, and Les Miserables, many times with wife Missy, daughter Megan, son Aaron in the cast.

    Amy is excited to be joining the GCRC team for her first community theater experience! Amy is no stranger to the stage and has studied voice for many years. When offstage she is a massage therapist who enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. When on stage, she enjoys being a ham to get a laugh.

    Alice’s theatre career began 24 years ago, and since then she has been active both on stage and behind the scenes. Alice spent the last nine years teaching theatre, debate, and forensics in Pittsburg, KS before moving to Garden City to teach at the high school. She directed over 20 productions at SMC, just last year directing Annie as an all-school production K-12. This is her first GCRC show.

    Kenne has always enjoyed the Theatre and performed in the Children’s Theatre and Community Theatre in his hometown of Bartlesville, OK. He restarted his community theatre career in last fall’s production of Les Miserables and is joined in the production of Annie by his wife Regina, son Chase and youngest daughter Rebekah.
