Kathy Powdrell
PRODUCER/DIRECTOR - This is Kathy Powdrell's 29th Musical. Tommy Tune Best Director for 2018. Recipient of the 2008 UIL Sponsor Excellence Award, Lillian B. Rhodes Texas Exes Outstanding Teacher Award, Founders Award for Texas Educational Theatre Association. In 2008 she served as its President Elect and was elected as the FISD Teacher of the Year, 13 visits to the UIL OAP State Meet and four UIL OAP State Championships. She and her husband Earle received the Buller's Award Advocates of the Year for United Spinal 2018.

Michael Tyer
VOCAL MUSIC – Mr. Tyer has been teaching for 17 years and is in his seventh year as choral director at FHS. He has been the director of music for 16 productions and is proud to be directing his sixth at FHS. In 2018, he won the TTA for Best Musical Direction. Mr. Tyer holds degrees from SHSU and Stephen F. Austin State University and is a member of TMEA and TCDA.

Julio Sanchez
INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC - Mr. Sanchez is a 1990 Graduate of Texas Tech University. He has 31 years teaching experience in Texas public schools and is Assistant Director of the FHS Bands and the Director of the FHS Jazz Band. Under his direction, the Pit Band has been nominated several times for Tommy Tune instrumental music awards, winning in 2015 and 2018 for Best Orchestra. Mr. Sanchez is a member of TMEA, TBA, PAS and Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Kyndal Kennedy
CHOREOGRAPHER - Kyndal Kennedy is a Friendswood High School Wranglerette and Musical alumni, performing in the ensemble of My Fair Lady in 2008 and as a dance lead in Oklahoma! in 2010. Upon her graduation from FHS, she graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Theater. This is her first year as the Assistant Director of the Friendswood High School Wranglerettes, and is honored to be on the directing team for this year's musical.
