 Acknowledgements

Although we have been working on the show since October and the

level of talent possessed by these kids is enormous,

this year’s production could not have been made possible

without the hard work and support of several people.

Thanks to Kim Spicer

whose vision for the fine arts department working together to create one amazing production inspired both last years "White Christmas" and this years "Shrek".

Thanks to Mrs. Newsom, Mr. Burke, Mr. Burks,

Mr. Carter, Mr. McKelvy, and Mr. Morrison

for their continued support of the fine arts programs at FHS.

Thanks to Dr. Vroonland

for his encouragement and support of all things fine arts. We are lucky to work in a district where the administration not only sees the need for the fine arts but also encourages the growth of the programs!

Thanks to the FISD Board of Trustees

for their continued support and excitement for the things that are going on in the fine arts programs.

Thanks to the FISD Elementry School Principals and Music Teachers

for allowing the 4th grade students to come see the show and provide us a "test audience!"

Thanks to Courtney Reeves, Gwyn Hughes, Lela Vela, Chad Smith,

and the rest of the FISD Business office.

Thanks to Elisha Reese

for designing our opening "Shrek the Musical" and "Fiona the Musical" graphics

and the intermission count down!

Thanks to the FHS Lifeskills Faculty, Staff, and Students

for making all the "Break-A-Leg" stars in the Lobby!

Thanks to Kayci Smith and the FHS Cheerleaders and Mascot!

Thanks to the FHS Custodial Staff.

Thanks to all the fine arts booster clubs

and their support not only of the fine arts but of our students and directors.

Thanks to the spouses and families of the directors

for their willingness to give up the time needed to make this production successful.

Thanks to the parents and families of the students

who have given rides, waited outside for hours to pick their students up, and given up their family time to help make this show amazing.
