Ms. Hays is so excited to be starting her first year at Fremont High School! After graduating from Elkhorn High School, she went on to join the performing arts group The Young Americans. There, she performed with Broadway stars and toured to such countries as Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the US. She then attended Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she received a degree in Musical Theatre. After three years of professional theatre and work in Chicago, Ms. Hays decided to move back to Nebraska to begin teaching theatre to high school students. She was proud to be on the team that was awarded a Best Musical recognition from the Nebraska High School Theatre Academy last year. Ms. Hays currently works at The Rose Children's Theatre on the weekend with their Mini Brigade, which allows her to share her passions with younger children.
Mr. Kimberly is thrilled to be at Fremont High School for his first year of teaching. He graduated from Millard West High School in 2015, and continued on to Nebraska Wesleyan University, where he received degrees in Mathematics and Theatre Arts. He has dreamt for years of having a job where he can use both of these passions, and is eternally grateful to Fremont High for taking him in as both a math teacher and as the assistant director of Theatre. Mr. Kimberly would like to extend his thanks to the Fremont community for the endless support that they provide to both students and teachers in their schools. Each and every person that walks through the doors of FHS is vital to the success of programs such as these. Thank you for your continued support of the arts in Fremont, Nebraska!
