Duncan MacLean

as Troy Bolton

Duncan is a junior and is delighted to perform in Freedom’s production of High School Musical, his 8th show at Freedom. Some of his previous roles include Banquo in Macbeth and Rapunzel’s Prince in Into The Woods. He’d like to thank his friends and family for their unconditional love and support.
Sydney Calvelli

as Gabriella Montez

Sydney is so happy and thankful that she landed this role. She has been in many theatre productions, but out of every show this is the one she is most excited for. She would like to thank all of her friends who supported her and believed in her throughout this experience, even when it was hard to believe in herself. She is ecstatic about this show and hopes you enjoy it! She also wants to thank the man who made the show happen, Mr. Mark Rogers!
Ashley Nguyen

as Sharpay Evans

Ashley is a senior and has performed in many shows throughout her high school career. Some of her favorite roles include Eponine in URTM’s summer production of Les Miserables, Mary Girard in The Insanity of Mary Girard, & The Witch in Into The Woods. She would like to thank her family, friends, God, and teachers (especially Mr. Rogers) for being so supportive of her!
Blair Smith

This is Blair’s seventh main stage Freedom production, preceded by cross country meets, late nights spent studying, and cuddles with his two dachshunds, Joe and Ella. He would like to thank his theatre family, friends, grandparents, mom, dad, Mr. Rogers, and brother Clark, for embracing his busy schedule, tolerating shower performances, and always being there to help me achieve his goals!

Rebecca is a senior at Freedom High School, and this is her 8th main stage production. She is so excited to be doing such a wonderful show with wonderful people. She would like to thank Mr. Rogers for teaching her everything she knows about acting, her family for supporting her, and her wonderful theatre family for being so amazing.
