SYNOPSIS
The year is 1933 and Annie, an 11 year old girl, lives in a miserable orphanage, run by an even more miserable woman named Miss Hannigan. The orphans try to take care of each other. They comfort each other, and they all dream of a real family. On the day Annie was left at the doorstep of the orphanage, her parents also left a note saying they'd return someday. Annie wants to find her parents so badly, she even tries to escape, but is caught. Her bad luck finally changes one day when Grace Farrell, secretary to the billionaire Oliver Warbucks, shows up. Grace chooses Annie to stay at the Warbucks Mansion for the Christmas holiday. Mr. Warbucks grows to love Annie and they enjoy a wonderful night out in New York City. Although Mr. Warbucks now wants to adopt her, he also knows Annie would prefer her real parents. So he decides to help Annie find them. While he and Annie are on a radio show, Mr. Warbucks offers a reward to the couple who can prove that they are her real parents. After hearing the show, Miss Hannigan, her brother Rooster and Rooster's accomplice, Lily, enact an evil scheme to get the reward money, and to get Annie out of the picture. Hopefully, "Tomorrow" will be the day which Annie has been dreaming of for years!
