Anything Goes (Revised 1962) - April 03 - April 06, 2014

Franklin County High

 Director Notes

There are some very special people I want to give a very special note of thanks. Breu’ana Cole and Kimmi Moatz are girls that are very dear to my heart. They have been in drama with me for several years and graduated last year. They sought me out this year and said “if we can help, we would really like to come back”. Well of course I said yes! They are two very talented and dedicated young women who I am proud to say I have worked with. They are acting as stage manager and lighting and tech manager as well as helping organize props and costumes. Not only that but they have been leaders with the crew and we could not have done it without them.

Michelle Manning has been someone that always asked me “Is there anything I can do to help you”? I just want to thank you for being supportive and helpful throughout this year. Now you can go and have some ice cream!

Rhonda Wiggonton is another special person for whom I am so grateful. She is the mother of Hannah Wiggonton (Mrs. Harcourt) and has been here almost every practice to help with anything I needed and give guidance to the actors and crew. Thank you so much for just being here for me and being willing to do anything I needed!

Last but certainly not least I want to thank the tap dancers of BRPAA for being present here tonight.  They are amazing girls, each and every one of them!  They are part of the reason that I love what I do for a living.  Not only do they work hard but they are some of the most respectful young ladies that I have ever had the pleasure to teach and they will always have my heart!!  Thank you so much for this!

A truly successful production involves much more than the final product you see on stage. It should not only be an artistic learning experience, but a personal one as well. I am especially proud of the cooperation, mutual respect, the level of commitment and the teamwork demonstrated by everyone involved in our production of “Anything Goes”. Finally, thank you to all of our student’s parents, and families, for supporting us and juggling schedules to fit the demands of rehearsals and performances. By doing so, you have provided your children with a tremendous theatrical experience which will be one of the highlights of their high school career.

Thank you all for a wonderful year!
