From the Director's Chair:
Welcome to Fort Hamilton High School's production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY MUSICAL. To the cast and crew of The Addams Family, thank you for making this directing experience a fun-filled, challenging, and rewarding one. You have all worked so hard these past months in rehearsals and conquered numerous challenges. Wishing you all a great show and a lifetime of fabulous memories.
Thanks to all our theatre parents, families, and friends for your continued support. Kudos to Ms. Shields for her continued efforts and talent in making this event truly special for all of us.
Special thanks to our principal Kaye Houlihan and her continued support of the theatre program. Thanks to our AP of Performing Arts Thomas Oberle, our vocal director Bob Lanaghan and our musical conductor Barry Stern. A very special shout out to Monica Lessard our very talented choreographer and her dedication to this production. Her guidance and expertise are truly appreciated. Here's to Eli and Rafaella Schreiner and their efforts in assisting with this production. Also, the phenomenal theatre tech crew at LaGuardia HS for constructing our beautiful set and sharing their experience with the theatre students here at Fort Hamilton HS.
Most importantly, I'm so proud of these performers (many are first-time actors in any stage production!) Throughout this process, they have learned team building, developed relationships, and have explored a deeper understanding of human nature. Theatre continues to help us all become better people.
Thank you all for coming and may you enjoy the show.
