Kelly Rivera

Mrs. Rivera began her career at age 4 inThe King and I at Oswego State. She has been the director of Thespian Troupe 5023 since 2013 and is on the Board of Directors at Flagler Playhouse. A native of Oswego, NY, Kelly has a Master of Music from Kent State University, where she was a graduate Teaching Assistant in Opera. Mrs. Rivera became an Actor's Equity Candidate when she performed in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, OH. Favorite roles include "Alice" in The Addams Family, "Rose" in Gypsy, "Narrator" in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, "Baker's Wife" in Into the Woods, "Lucy/Christmas Eve" in Avenue Q, "Tracy" in Hairspray, and "Mabel" in The Pirates of Penzance. She'd like to thank her husband Nando for his support; Jack, Jan, and Lisa K for their collab; Sarah and Amy for giving her vocalists such great training; and her students for being her inspiration.
