Director's Note
Thank you for coming to our performance of Godspell. Godspell is about transforming a group of dissonant, uncoordinated voices into a cohesive community over time through the use of parables, song, and playful interactions. Once the group has come together, it is necessary for them to go back into the world and spread the news and excitement of what they learned.
I am pleased and excited to have gone on this same journey with our cast and crew over the last 3 months. We’ve come together from different walks of life, different generations, and had different goals for this performance. Every week, we came closer together, learning from one another, and making the scenes better and better. Once our final performance is over, we will, once again, go our separate ways – but I hope we’ll always be able to remember this time and spread the excitement of what we learned along our way.
Congratulations to the cast and crew – with a special shout out to my wonderful family (Tassie, Shannon, and Connor).
