Rebecca Futty
Director/Choreographer
Becca Futty is thrilled to be back at Firebird Theatre! She has worked as a director and choreographer for more than a decade with all ages through both school and community productions. She holds a B.A. in Musical Theatre from West Chester University with a minor in Dance. Some of her favorite past productions include Godspell, Cinderella, Into the Woods, Mean Girls and Big Fish. She's previously directed Aladdin Jr. (2022) and High School Musical Jr. (2023) at Firebird. Becca’s biggest joy is mentoring the next generation of theater artists and when it comes to choreography, she has one motto: “anyone can dance!”

Justin Damm
Assistant Director
Justin Damm is thrilled to have the opportunity to work again at Firebird Theatre after previously directing Firebird's Beauty and the Beast. Justin is a graduate of Villanova's Masters of Theatre program and works as a Physics Teacher for Upper Merion Area High School where he directs the musical for The Underground Players. Justin previously directed for Owen J. Roberts High School for Little Shop of Horrors, Thoroughly Modern Millie and Cinderella. Other favorite directorial shows include Urinetown and Into the Woods for Villanova Student Musical Theatre.

Safiyyah Jones
Stage Manager
Safiyyah Jones (Stage Manager) is excited to be back at Firebird this summer. Safiyyah will be stage managing Grease, Spongebob and Legally Blonde Jr. She also assists with Phoenixville High School's theatre program and is The Publicity chair for Forge Theatre.
