Harold Hill isn’t the only one who believes in the “Think System." Studies have shown the tremendous effect that positive thinking can have on the individual and in a particular community, and I must say, I’m truly happy with the results! For this production of The Music Man, we welcome our Luther Jackson Middle School families as well as the staff and students from the music department at FCHS. Collaborating with the music team at FCHS, along with Ms. Stacey Jones and Mr. Michael Hairston from LJMS, has been a really wonderful experience.
I am truly grateful to the FCHS Drama boosters and all of the parents who have supported their students in putting on this musical, and to all of my FCHS students - including a couple of alumni! I feel very privileged to have worked with a team of talented directors and musicians in Mr. Jacob Walker, Ms. Melrose Pyne, Mr. James Senson, and Mr. Drew Lisowski.
I’d like to thank Mr. Yohe and Mr. Gonzalez for their unending support of FCHS Theatre. Most of all, I’d like to thank my husband, Eric De Marco, for his assistance in making our set safe and secure - and for his patient understanding of the time I put into my work.
We have one more cast of characters to add to our production, and that is you, the audience. I hope you laugh some, smile a lot, and walk out of the theatre humming your favorite tunes from the show. I hope you catch a glimpse of what great things can be accomplished with just a “thought," and for those of you from the Falls Church High School pyramid, I hope you are proud of what these students have accomplished. I know I am!
Mrs. Beth De Marco
