Notes from the Director...
Our production of Lion King Jr. began as an idea, ironically, on our Choir/Band trip to Disney last year in April. After studying the script it was evident that this was the right show for us! Since then, this production has been a work in progress. From learning lines and music to creating costumes and lighting/sound design, we've slowly brought that vision of the award-winning Broadway musical to life!
To the cast and crew: Thank you for spending countless hours learning each and every bit of this show! You look and sound fabulous on stage! I appreciate your hard work and hope that this musical theatre family will always be part of who you are.
To the Choir Boosters and parent volunteers: You cannot begin to understand how much your support for our program means! We are so lucky to have a community that gets involved with their children's education and passion for music and theatre. Thank you for the sound equipment, costumes, props, organizational skills, and advice!! You are truly AMAZING individuals!
To Barbora, Brett, Brianna, Cassie, Erica, and Sammi: Your help on this show made it the fabulous production that it is! Thanks for your dedication to creating costumes, running rehearsals, working on blocking, working with the crews, and just being a helpful sounding board. We couldn't have done this without you!
