Last year, after a late rehearsal, Ms. King, Jenna, and I stood together in the commons area talking. We talked and laughed about so many things that before we knew it, over thirty minutes had passed. So, we walked out to our cars together.  Before we left, Ms. King gave me a big hug. During our conversation, we talked about a relationship in my life that was proving difficult.  The next few weeks of rehearsals and church, Ms. King would check on me and ask me how things were going. She was intentional about praying for me and not letting me walk alone. This was her. She could be brutally honest and wildly funny while loving others so deeply and truly.   Out of all the people in your life, you always knew that Ms. King was praying for you. She valued beautiful art and championed community; the Eastbrook Theater program is the loving and honest place that it is because of her work. Thank you.
