Fred Wolinsky
Director/Choreographer
Fred has worked professionally as an actor, director, choreographer, puppeteer, magician, voice performer, producer, teacher, and booking agent. He founded Pegasus Productions, a national touring puppet theatre company. He founded Encore Performing Arts, a not-for-profit booking agency, booking performances for young audiences touring throughout the eastern USA. He has acted in NYC, touring, and local productions, being named “Best Actor in the Hudson Valley, 1994” by the Times Herald Record for his performance as Alan Turing in Breaking the Code. Fred has directed and choreographed professional, college, and community theatre productions, including Tintypes, La Cage Aux Folles, They’re Playing Our Song, The Laramie Project, Bent, The Nerd, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Lend Me a Tenor, Little Shop of Horrors, and more. Fred works as an audiobook narrator, a nationally certified sign language interpreter, and a part-time instructor of speech and theater at DCC.
John Howell
Assistant Music Director
John has sung throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia, with performance credits that include New York City Opera at Lincoln Center, Opera Company of Philadelphia, Bard Summerscape, Seraphic Fire, and Santa Fe Desert Chorale. He was awarded a Fulbright Grant in 2005-06 to undertake advanced doctoral research in Sydney, Australia. He earned both his M.M. and D.M. from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, in Bloomington, Indiana. Since 2012, he has taught in the Performing, Visual Arts, and Communications Department at Dutchess Community College.
