Jenny O'Brien
Jenny is the owner and director of DDA. She started dancing at age 3 and hasn't stopped since. She started teaching when she was 18 under the direction of her dance teacher of 15 years, and in 2012 followed her dream of opening a studio. This season marked her 20th year of teaching!
Jenny is very involved in the the community and makes sure DDA is a part of every event. She is also actively involved in the International Dance Entrepreneurs Association and in April was a featured studio owner on a "Dancing Through Tough Times" episode with Rhee Gold to discuss running a virtual studio. She has written numerous articles for Dance Studio Life Magazine, and was a panelist at her Alma Mater's (Illinois State) Communication Week. She loves sharing her journey and inspiring others to follow their dream. Dance is so much more than the steps.
