When all is done and said, we’ll all come out ahead,
We’ll triumph over evil in -the-end!’
What an appropriate message we learn from this production during this time with so much friction in the world around us!
And just like that – after the past two years of zoom shows and video productions DRAMA-WORKS is back in person with our live show tonight, ‘THE ARISTOCATS’ based on the 1970 Disney movie. The story revolves around a family of aristocratic cats. The butler has kidnapped them to gain his mistress’ fortune that was intended to go to them, and an alley cat acquaintance becomes their support on the way home. We travel on a journey from early 1900’s Paris to the countryside and back! As we travel along with the adorable kittens, we learn how important it is to help one another and work together. As Scat Cat says: ‘We are all the same under the fur.’ In our own little DRAMA-WORKS and BOCA PREP INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL microcosm we have followed the example of these world wise animals and have worked together as a dynamic team to bring this production to life.
I look forward to our next show as we move on to our MUSICAL THEATER SUMMER CAMP in June 2022 – we look forward to seeing many of you there!
