Celine Bautista
as Sophie
Celine is a freshman and is excited to be a part of this production working with talented people. She has been in theatre for nine years and has been seen in DHS’s 2022 production of “Puffs”. She played the characters Leanne and Bippy. In 2022, she was involved in JV DTASC winning 5th place with the scene “Joker”. This year, she participated in JV Shakespeare DTASC winning 2nd place with the scene “Macbeth”. She’s also a member of the Elysian Downey Jazz Choir and the award winning Epic Downey Jazz Choir. She has learned so much from being a part of this experience and looks forward to continue her involvement in theatre at DHS.

Sofia Hammond-Mota
as Donna
This is Sofia’s first and last musical as a senior. She previously played Mrs. Peacock in last years production Clue and has been a part of the drama department since. She has contributed to DTASC twice (winning 3rd as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth), is an International Thespian Society member, and starred as Emma in the "Written, Not Spoken" One Act. Sofia is also a member of the school’s marching band and jazz choir, and plans to attend UC Irvine after graduation.

Celine Joy Taguibao
as Tanya
Celine Joy is a senior at Downey High School with great involvement in the arts. With "Mamma Mia!" being her first production of her theatrical performance career, she is thrilled to play Tanya of the Dynamos. While being a diverse musician and artist, Jazz holds a great place in her heart. Celine is the student leader and lead soprano of Downey High's EPIC Jazz Choir. She is also the Jazz ensembles rhythm section leader as their bassist. After graduating, Celine will be attending CSU Long Beach to major in Psychology. She plans to continue her musical journey by pursuing music through various outlets. Celine Joy holds a lot of talent, and is excited to share her gift with everyone.
