James Miguel Patricio

as Kevin Rosario

James Miguel Patricio is currently a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School, and is happy to perform in "In The Heights" - his very first musical. Taking part in Dougherty Valley's Concert Choir, previous middle school choir and church choirs as well as playing piano, guitar and ukulele, James is a passionate music lover. He also enjoys dancing, acting (mostly in small church plays), and most recently, writing. Aside from performing arts, he enjoys competing in martial arts tournaments and creating random videos. He does not know where he may end up in his future, but he is absolutely certain music and theater will follow him throughout his life. He hopes you enjoy the show!
Riya Gupta

as Camila Rosario

Riya Gupta is currently a sophomore at Dougherty Valley High School and she is very grateful to be a part of this show. She has been in 5 musicals other than this one including, RENT as Joanne and Legally Blonde as Vivienne. When she is not performing, she enjoys listening to music, watching TV, obsessing over musicals, and dancing. Riya also loves singing as she is also in Dougherty’s choir and has been learning for almost 8 years. Apart from the arts, Riya is also an American Red Cross Youth Executive Board Member and she is also the DVHS GSA president! She would like to thank her family for supporting her and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Rupesh Barman

Rupesh Barman is a junior at DVHS. When he is not rehearsing or catching up on schoolwork, he enjoys singing in choir, learning about business, and reading comics. Most importantly, he loves to write and produce hip hop music on SoundCloud. He would like to thank Mr. Vega and Mrs. Walker for this opportunity, and his family and friends for supporting him. Jocylin Bovet

Jocylin Bovet is a senior at Dougherty Valley and is very excited to be apart of this years musical. She enjoys both acting and singing in her free time and hopes for only the best to come from this production. She enjoys playing the harp in her free time when she is not playing tennis or focusing on college applications.
