Dear Friends of DCA

I’m thrilled you chose to join us to kick off the 2014 - 2015 season of amazing artistic displays, concerts and productions.  With 3 theatrical productions slated, plus numerous musical productions, ballet and modern dance concerts, in addition to some Shakespeare, and of course our nationally renowned DCA Jazz Ensemble, all a part of this exciting season, we hope you are as excited as we are about our upcoming productions.

For 37 years, DCA has continued to present world-class theatre, concerts, and visual arts exhibitions at the Broward Center at Dillard Center for the Arts Theater, and throughout Broward County thereby reaching several generations of South Floridians.

As this season begins, I can’t stress enough the importance that community supporters, patrons and sponsors have had on the growth of DCA.  This has directly impacted our magnet program positively as well as the number of incredibly talented students that have been inspired by our amazing faculty throughout the years. 

 
As you enjoy tonight's program, I would like to encourage you to continue to invest in our young artist, and in arts education.  Along with the sale of tickets, DCA depends on your generous donations to cover the “variable expenses” necessary to provide our students with a quality artistic and educational experience. (i.e. Cost associated with each show, including sets, props, costumes, royalties, advertising, books, music, etc.) Your support helps to ensure our lights continue to shine bright throughout this season and beyond for the students of Dillard Center for the Arts. 

Please consider investing in our future artist of tomorrow by making a one-time donation or becoming an ongoing DCA donor. You can make a monthly donation in any amount, starting as low as $10.  Simply fill out the donation form at our donation station in the lobby, or you may donate online if you desire at dillardhigh.com/pvasupport.
