Director’s note,
Zombie Prom is a love story surrounded by adversity and how that adversity is met and overcome. That is a fitting theme for this years cast. We have had many issues to overcome this year: a cast that has fought with the flu and other illnesses, a ridiculously large cast (what was I thinking?), needing to build a set that can “disappear” for the District Solo and Ensemble Festival that D-DHS is hosting during the run of the show, and several rehearsals canceled due to weather. It is a tribute to this cast and crew that we bring to you this delightful, lighthearted farce. Therefore, the directors of Zombie Prom extend a loud Bravo to the cast, crew, and the many parents that helped make this show continue the tradition of excellence that has become the Delavan-Darien Spring Musical.
