Ms. Jessica Kirschner

Director

Ms. Jessica Kirschner is a 2nd-4th grade general music teacher for Jefferson Township Public Schools, as well as, the 4th-5th Grade Chorus Director. She graduated from Elon University in North Carolina, with a B.S in Music Education. Ms. Kirschner is honored to join JTMS as the Spring Musical Director for the 2021 musical. Her passion for music education has been fueled by a lifetime of experience in the arts. Ms. Kirschner has performed in highly regarded ensembles since she was in 2nd grade. She sang with the Children’s Chorus of Sussex County for 8 years then continued to sing with the NJ Youth Chorus for 3 years. Ms.Kirschner also performed in several musicals with the Growing Stage Theater and Smiling Rhino Theater. 

Currently, Ms. Kirschner sings with the Harmonium Choral Society and has participated in/edited over 10 virtual programs throughout the last year. Ms. Kirschner would like to thank her family, friends and colleagues for their support .

Ms. Danielle Schreck

Music Director

Ms. Schreck is the choral director and music exploratory teacher at JTMS. She graduated from Montclair State University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Though this is the sixth show she has music directed at the middle school, this is the first virtual musical she has been a part of. Musicals have been a passion of hers since she was young. She acted and sang in musicals from elementary school through her college years.  Music was always something she knew she would pursue in the future. This will be her sixth year at JTMS and I couldn't be more excited about it. She would like to thank her friend/colleague Cheryl Miskimon for reigniting her passion for musical theater and for her constant dedication to the musicals over the years. This one’s for you.
