Alice Josi Bernal 

This season, prior to auditions, DE Theatre Arts gained a guardian angel in our rockstar student Alice Josi Bernal.  At 9 years old Alice lit up every Hanford rehearsal she partook in.  Her joy and passion radiated to each and every teacher and student she came in contact with.  She was everyone's instant friend and brought immense happiness to all.  

Alice joined Dancers Edge in our 2021-2022 season as she was a valued member of Edge Music and Hanford Production classes, both of which Miss Allison had the pleasure of teaching.  She was espeically excited for our Aladdin production and was very much seeking to play the role of Rajah.  It is without a doubt to all Hanford students and staff that Alice is with us in spirit on this stage today.

We dedicate this years production of Aladdin Jr. to our sweet Alice and the entire Bernal family.  As a tribute to her memory we have scattered sun flowers, Alice's favorite flower, throughout our show.  We hope each time you see this beautiful happy flower you imagine our beautiful happy Alice danicng and singing on stage with us.
