Becca Vourvoulas
Director/Choreographer
Becca is new to the Charlottesville theatre scene and is thrilled to have become a part of DMR Adventures. Becca stepped onto a stage at age 3 and found her home! She holds a BFA from Penn State's Musical Theatre program and has performed all over the US and abroad. Sharing her love of theatre with kids has also become a big part of Becca's life. She has taught students of all levels and also choreographs for both educational and professional theatre. Away from the stage, Becca teaches Drama at Peabody School and is an avid distance runner.

Nancy Paulson
Music Director
Passionate about education and working with young people, Nancy began her career at the Congressional Youth Leadership Council in WDC and then worked in the field of university student affairs. After a professional hiatus for the purposes of corralling and shuttling her own three kids, Nancy was thrilled to join together her education and musical backgrounds in teaching voice lessons and directing vocal ensembles including serving as the choir director for The Village School choir for the past nine years. Nancy holds a B.A. in Journalism and a M.S. in Education and loves her family, friends, being outdoors …. and singing with the Jr. Stars!

Laura's love of the theater began in middle school, and decades later, she loves the opportunity that DMR provides her to manage productions while raising her three boys. She'd like to give huge thanks to all the parents for tolerating her numerous emails, to Melissa for the opportunities, and to her husband who helps keep the home fires burning during her DMR hours!

(Costume Designer, Volunteer Coordinator, Office Administrator) Crystal loves working behind the scenes. Costumes allow her creative spirit to flow even with running the 'mom taxi' for her four kids.
