Message from the Drama Club President
Dear Hunchback Audience,
On behalf of the Drama Club Officers and the whole cast and crew of Crestview’s production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame,” thank you for coming to today's performance! This show has become very special to me over the past season and I hope you find it special too. If you know any of the cast or crew members, you know how much effort and work we have all put into this production to make it the best possible show it can be. The circumstances haven’t been the greatest for us this year. Having the school closed down and quarantine beginning a week before opening night definitely put a damper on the whole process. I do, however, believe that the circumstances gave this show a whole new and special meaning.
Special thanks go out to people who have given help throughout the course of this show including Mrs. Huff, Mr. McCloskey, Mrs. Merideth, and Mrs. Hart with the set, Mrs. Van Kirk with costumes, the art classes with our stained glass window and everyone else that contributed to the show. Additionally, we can’t thank the community enough for the attendance at our Chipotle fundraiser all the way back in the winter and for all the sponsorships that keep our show going. Also, I’d like to personally give thanks to the administration, specifically Mrs. Nappi and Mr. Manly for fighting for this show to be able to happen. Lastly, I’d like to thank Mr. Bable and Mr. Crawford for all the extra time, effort, and sleep lost over the production of this show, no words can thank you enough for all you do for us students.
Now sit back, relax, and enjoy Crestview High School’s production of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame!”
Sincerely,
Jarred Kalina, Drama Club President
