It has been my PLEASURE to direct the music for The Sound of Music at Creek Wood.  This is my third opportunity to be part of the music in this play, and it has never been more enjoyable than this time, working with my own students. 

                I want to say a special thank you to the students in the Concert Choir, and the Women’s Ensemble who have joined in and taken the “vow” to be part of the play and are nuns of Nonnberg Abbey!  It has been such a joy watching choir students make the metamorphosis from singers to actors.  My babies are growing up, and they are doing so well.

                I especially have enjoyed working with the younger actors and their wonderful parents!  I have directed kids choirs for 27 years, and I have never had such wonderful, hardworking, talented singers together.  Ben (who plays Kurt) is one of my piano students.  Such a blessing they all are!

                Thank you for coming to hear all the hard work that has been going on since January!  The audience MAKES the show.
