Nooses Off - November 15 - November 18, 2017

Cooper Middle School

  Director's Note &  Acknowledgements

A show like this is always dependent on the dedication and hard work of a cast and crew.  I have never had a show where timing was so crucial, and the only way this works without everything falling apart has just been the nights and nights of rehearsal.  Even though act 2 of this show looks like total chaos, it has been so much work for these students to not only learn and memorize their lines and blocking and cues, but to essentially run two shows simultaneously, and have to tie everything they are doing "back" stage to what is happening "on" stage.

This cast has approached this show with so much energy and fun.  They have been willing to take risks, be ridiculous and commit to this show with so much gusto.  This crew has been awesome with being dependable, hard-working and dedicated to adding their own personalities to this show.  I have truly enjoyed working with all these students and am a little sad that this rehearsal time just flew by!  I am always so impressed with what my students are able to pull together in what feels like 2 very short months, but it is really thanks to their commitment and work that we have been able to pull together this awesome and fun show.

I hope you enjoy, and thank you for your continued support of the Cooper Theatre program.

Sincerely,

Meg Baber

Thank you to all the teachers and parents, for your patience and understanding of the time commitment and work load that it takes to put on a production.
