Nicole Oliver
Director
graduated from Fordham University. She began her career as a professional actor and is a member of Actors’ Equity. She founded the Conwell Kidz in 2004. She recently received a NJ Governer's Award for her work with the program. She is also a member of Freddie G Alumni, a group of distinguished teachers from all over the world who were chosen by Freddie Gershon to lead the charge in implementing arts education in their community. Nicole was JCPS ‘16-17 District Teacher of the Year. She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Pushcart Players. She just completed her inaugural year of City Kidz Playhouse, a non-profit musical theatre academy for students in grades 4-12. Her vision with this program is to foster a comprehensive education in the performing arts to all children in Jersey City through their high school years.

Alexandra Montanez
Assistant
has played many roles behind the scenes over the last 15 years. She assisted with The Conwell Kidz Drama Program where they won the Jr. Showcase Trophy at the National Performing Arts Festival in Walt Disney World Fl. She also assisted in productions which received National Outstanding Production Award at 2016 and The Excellence in Music Award (2015, 2017) Junior Theater Festival in Atlanta ,GA , She was Assistant Director of the Lion King Jr., Hairspray Jr.,Aladdin Jr. and Mary Poppin's with the Conwell Kidz at P.S. #3 and has served as Stage Manager for Annie, Peter Pan, JCPS District Production of Les Miserables, and many more. She is excited to have completed her first year with City Kidz Playhouse which is a Non-Profit Youth Theater Organization. Recently, she has received the NJ Governers award for her work with the Conwell kidz. She enjoys working with this cast. She would like to thank her family and everyone for their support.
