Storytelling is an art that goes back as far as history, but in this case, the stories get all mixed up because Grandpa cannot remember what happened. He is desperate to tell his grandkids stories so they'll go to sleep and the result is a hilarious hodge podge of fairy tales!
This play spoke to us because of the light-hearted way of storytelling. Every parent, grandparent, and even older sibling can relate to wanting to get storytime over with so they can get on with their evenings, but these kids are very specific about how their stories must be told. The imagination of the three kids creates a wonderful world where the characters from beloved fairy tales come to life in unusual ways.
