Cassidy Rose

Clarinet

My name is Cassidy Rose, and I am a member of the pit orchestra (Clarinet 1)! I have years of experience with musicals, but only ever on stage. This year is my first time playing in the orchestra and I really enjoy it! It is one of the most challenging things I’ve tried in high school. My favorite memory during Cinderella is when we were rehearsing and Gracie (the baritone) blasted a low note at the end of a song by accident and we laughed as she turned red with embarrassment. As for my plans for the future, I will be attending NMU (Nothern Michigan University) for their Clinical Labratory Science program, getting an Associates degree in Clinical Lab and a Bachelor’s in Anatomic Pathology.

Gracie Poole

Bari Saxophone

My name is Gracie Poole, I am a member of the pit orchestra! (I’m playing a bassoon part on bari sax). This is my first ever time in any involvement with the musicals but my favorite memory is accidentally playing a really really low note when it was dead silent and Mr. Heyer just started laughing. For my future plans I am attending UWGB to get my Bachelor’s degree in biology and education to become a high school biology teacher!

Aspen Duhm

My name is Aspen Duhm and this is my third year running the lights for the musical. Even though I just press GO during the performances, it’s fun seeing each musical progress over time, even if it takes lots of yelling from Armstrong and Haase. I also like seeing my friends grow as people while also bringing humor to the stage (Olivia Olmsted dropping a fake fish from her mouth). After high school I plan on going to either UW-Lacrosse or Bellin College to major in Radiation Therapy.
