  • Hannah Gilson head shot

    Hannah Gilson

    as Fiona (Cast B)

    is a senior. Active in Vocal and Instrumental Music Departments, Hannah has sung in Choir for four years, and played trumpet in Symphonic Winds, Marching Band, Jazz Ensemble and Pit Orchestra. She has participated in the Heights musicals since 5th grade and previously played Patty Simcox (Grease) and Chastity (Anything Goes). Hannah studies voice with Sandra Simon, sings with the St. Paul’s Youth Choir, and has performed with the Western Reserve Chorale. As a member of Apollo’s Fire Musettes, Hannah has appeared as a soloist and will sing in the ensemble’s debut performances and recording of Christmas on Sugarloaf Mountain this December. She is an officer for both NHS and Tri-M, participates in Model UN, runs track, and plans to attend college next Fall. Hannah would like to thank her parents, her sister, Mrs Simon, Katie, Mr Lange, Mr Jurns, Mrs Sudduth, and her friends and family for their support. Much thanks to the amazing cast and crew for their hard work!

    is a senior.  He was encouraged by his kindergarten teacher, Ms. Malek, to get involved in acting and he has pursued the stage ever since. Malcolm is extremely proud to be performing as Donkey. Malcolm has performed in numerous productions with Heights Youth Theatre, Cleveland All City Program, The Barbershop Quartet, The Play House Square Dazzle awards and both private and public events. Malcolm wants to pursue his passion in college to study the arts through both vocal performance and theatre. Malcolm thanks his family, teachers, coaches, and friends for all of their love and support.

    is a senior at Heights High. Falling in love with the stage at a young age, Gerald has been performing since 7th grade. His more notable roles are Perchick (Fiddler on the Roof), Big Jule (Guys and Dolls), Vince Fontaine (Grease) Evelyn Oakleigh (Anything Goes), and of course Lord Farquaad. Outside of theater, Gerald enjoys playing bass trombone for Symphonic Winds, singing in A Cappella Choir, performing with the Cleveland Heights Barbershoppers, and is in Tri-M. He'd like to thank his parents and friends for their continuous support, Mrs. Sudduth for being the glue that holds the VMD together, and Mr. Lange for not only being a good director, but for showing him the virtue of patience.
