This production would not be possible without the assistance of the following people:
- Mr. Owusu and the administration of Clarksburg High School
- Mr. Brown and Mr. Ballou and the building service workers
- Mrs. Eader and Mrs. Weston for all their financial assistance.
- The Chstage Supporting cast foundation- for supporting us in the lobby, through fundraising, and with meals.
- All the parents of the cast, crew, and interpreters for putting up with late nights and lots of rehearsals.
- My family for always having my back in every endeavor.
- You the audience - without you we would have no reason to be here!
Director's Notes:
Each year I am pleasantly surprised by the talent that comes out for the shows. This year is absolutely no different. There are a lot of very hardworking students who balance academics, rehearsal, jobs, and social lives to do what they love - and their passion shows. They remind me every day what it means to be a teacher. Mamma Mia is good clean fun. No deep underlying message, just good music, and good fun. It has been such a pleasure to work with these young performers and as several move on to promising collegiate careers and beyond, I know that they will look back on the years they spent here with fondness. Even if they never cross a stage again, the memories they made here will last a lifetime. To my Seniors all the best to each of you in your future. I will miss you greatly. To my entire cast and crew:
"Thank you for the music, the songs I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance, what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me!" <3
