Notes from the director
What an absolute joy this 23-24 season has been for drama club! As the director of this wonderful production, I cannot say enough about what an amazing cast and crew this group has been. At its heart, Grease is about young people discovering themselves and looking to find a place in the world. This group has taken that theme to heart, and it shows in their joyful and sincere performances. I am lucky to come to work every day with this sweet and determined group of young adults, and I'm proud of every single one of them.
Congratulation to the actors and crew- the production you see before you tonight is a product of their hard work, determination, and dedication. They continue to astound me each day with their abilities and achievements. I look forward to see them continue to grow, as actors and as people. This is the year we say goodbye to a few of our core members, some of whom have been with us for as many as 12 productions. My sincere thanks and best wishes to our seniors: Michael Miller, Krista Bucci, Michaelah Jeffers, Skylar Dewhirst, Talia Pegg, and Benjamin Robert.
My thanks to the administration and staff of Chester Academy who have been so helpful in bringing this production to life. On a personal note, my thanks also goes out to each and every one of you in attendance tonight (and those who couldn't make it but support us from afar!) It is only with your support and kindness that any of this is possible. Chester has proven itself to be a welcoming community, and I am so thankful to be a part of it.
