Sarah Vollmer

as Davey

Sarah is a senior this year and she has performed in several CSPA musical and drama club productions. Her most memorable moments of Newsies have been while trying to master the iconic heel click - not an easy feat! The castmember who has impacted Sarah the most is Ashley, because the kindness, dedication, and laughs that she brings to rehearsals are unmatched! Sarah wishes to thank everyone who has put their hearts and souls into this program and made it an incredible four years for her. It's so hard to say goodbye - keep seizing the day!
Ashley Blaszczynski

as Les

Ashley is 13 years old and this will be her 4th performance with CSPA and her 28th show in total. Some of her favorite roles have been Willy Wonka/Candy Man from Willy Wonka Jr., The Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland Jr., and Babette from Beauty and the Beast Jr. Ashley would like to thank her cast and crewmates for making this show as inviting and fun as possible!
Kailin Young

For Kailin Young, the most rewarding part of this experience is connecting and performing with her peers. "It's a feeling you would only know in theater. Everyone supports one another and it's such a loving and fun community." Newsies Jr. is Kailin's sixth musical with CSPA and she feels blessed to be able to work alongside so many talented actors.
Madison Lindenmuth

as Medda Larkin

Madison is a senior this year and performing in her 7th CSPA musical. Madison has loved becoming a leader among her castmates. She enjoys mentoring the younger students, and being someone they can turn to for help. She is excited to portray the funny and relatable character of Medda, but not so excited for tears as the she starts and finishes her final CSPA show. However, while Madison will miss her CSPA family, she is looking forward to new and bigger things ahead.
