A Message about SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production
Our play was partially inspired by the UN's SDG #12 Responsible Consumption and Production, which calls on us to reduce our carbon footprint. This includes, making the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy resources and reducing material and food waste. According to the UN's research, the average person wastes 120 kilograms of food per year and the enivormental footprint left by high income countries is over 10 times that of lower income countries. We hope this play can shed light on this problem and encourage people to be more concious about their consumption habits as we move towards a more sustainable future together.
