Mamma Mia! - November 08 - November 10, 2018

Chamberlain High School - 01

 Director's End Notes

Mamma Mia! has been the experience of a lifetime!  This cast and crew has been phenomenal to work with.  Not only in their dedication to putting on a major broadway show, but to their ability to come together as one family on stage.  I could not have asked for a better group to direct for.  We have made enormous progress since the night we had our first table read.  I could not be more proud of these students.  Thank you to all of you out there who supported us in this production.  It has been two months that flew by faster than I ever thought it would.

This cast and crew is an amazing collection of people.  The character and professionalism that they bring day in and day out is astounding.  We had a lot of new people that joined us this year and they were welcomed in to the fold seamlessly.  The experienced actors and singers have brought a level of greatness to this production beyond what most high school performances could aspire to.  I could not have done this production without having the great people we had involved.  They were eager to help and were great at shifting duties as needed.  Whether they were wearing the hat of actor, stage manager, production assistant, choreographer, PR agent, or so many more, these students rose with the occasion and succeeded it in every sense.  To every single one of you, thank you for the amazing experience the last two months have been.  It has been incredibly special to work with each and every one of you.  Even though it has been a lot of work and not a lot of sleep, I wish that this would keep going.  Thank you for making this a wonderful experience I will remember for the rest of my life.

Thank you to those of you that have come out tonight to support our production!  It has been a whirlwind, but we are so excited to put this show on and give you an experience unlike any other.  This show will put a smile on your face and make you want to sing and dance along!  Stick around after the bows for a special surprise and enjoy the show!
