This year of new norms and strange times has certainly been a learning opportunity for us all. I am so happy to have had this online, virtual world experience with this really great group of students. It was no small feat for them to get all of their, lines memorized, scenes rehearsed and videos submitted and edited for this production! There were literally hundreds of hours put forth to bring this show to fruition! I am so honored to have had the opportunity to work with these very dedicated, kind, and hardworking students. It has been an adventure that I will never forget.
There are some people to whom we owe special thanks, without whom, our show would not be possible. Thank you to Mr. Myles Lee, who helped us with all of our audition and callbacks needs. and who provides me with so much assistance every day. Thank you to Mrs. Tania Webb for designing our beautiful posters and for guiding our tech students through designing our fabulous T-Shirt, and also for always being there to answer my never-ending questions about filming/streaming a school production. Thanks are also due to our editors Hailyn Anderson and Jordan Pence who worked countless hours on getting our production all edited and show ready! Thank you to our wonderful Stage Managers Scierra Ganter and Zoey Haider, who were with us every step of the way to help us keep all our cast and crew on track! Thanks also to Scierra Ganter, Zoey Haider, and Mackenzie Richey for their assistance with our editing needs. Thank you Mrs. Karen Marzka, for being our fearless leader and for always having our backs! Thank you to all the parents and family members who allowed your children the time to get back to some form of performance, be it a different approach! I'd also like to thank my family for always allowing me the time I need to bring another show from the page to the "stage". Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not give special thanks to you, our patrons! We are so glad you are here! Thank you for supporting the Centennial High School Theatre Department.
*Note* There is a four-minute intermission built into the streamed production, after Act I.
Now, without further ado, we hope you will sit back, relax and enjoy our virtual rendition of Voices from the High School.
Kind Regards,
Lara Carter, Director
