    Brandon Hamilton

    Director, Choreographer

    This is Brandon’s first production with Centennial High School. A native of Chicago, Brandon has always had a passion for entertaining. After doing various productions throughout the Chicagoland area, he moved out to Los Angeles when he was 16 to pursue his dream. Brandon has appeared in many regional productions including South Pacific, West Side Story, and Footloose. In addition to acting, he has directed, assistant directed, and choreographed several productions. Some previous credits include: Grease, While The Lights Were Out, Annie, Is There a Comic in the House, The Wizard of Oz, and The Music Man. Brandon is a graduate of California State University and received his Masters of Education at Lipscomb University. Brandon is a proud member of SAG, AFTRA, and the Country Music Association. Brandon would like to thank this wonderful cast and crew for their hard work and dedication!

    Dr. Johnathan Vest

    Musical Director

    Dr. Johnathan Vest serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Centennial High School, where he also teaches World Drumming and Music History. He is excited to be directing the music for this show, his third with CHS's CenterStage Theatre.  He has extensive experience as a musician, conductor and actor, and is thrilled to be able to put that experience to use here at CHS.  He would like to thank the amazing teachers, parents and students at CHS who have worked tirelessly to make this show happen, and a special thanks to his wonderful family.  

  • Megan Hardgrave head shot

    Megan Hardgrave

    Production Designer/Technical Director

    Megan is currently a working visual artist and teaching artist for several local community theater programs including Centennial High School and Star Bright Players. She has been a teaching artist in visual and performing arts education since 2005, specializing in production design and technical theater education. In addition to In The Heights, she has designed such shows as Les Misérables, The Addams Family, Peter Pan, The Music Man, and Noises Off. Megan is also the proud mother of three beautiful children, Chris, Analiese, and Sicily.
