My second musical here at Carrollton has been a wonderful experience yet again. I’ve had the privilege of working with these wonderful cast and crew members yet again, some old and some new.
In 2013, I returned to the Calhoun Entertainment Company after a brief hiatus to finish school to participate in their 25th musical, The Music Man. I wasn’t familiar with it except for a few of the songs, but it quickly became one of my favorites. The songs also became so stuck in my head that they didn’t get out until six months after the show was over. The classic songs have become lifelong favorites. I was very happy and honored to bring my experience with this show to Carrollton, and I’m very proud of how far the kids have come.
The cast and crew have worked incredibly hard in the short time that we had, and I couldn’t be more proud of them. Welcome to River City, Iowa (or I-O-WAY depending on where you’re from)! We hope you enjoy the show!
