Joanne O'Kain
Director
Dr. Joanne O'Kain has directed over 40 musicals for young people.I love bringing together students and adults of varying backgrounds and talents and working together. Each show or trip we take creates relationships that will last a long time. I love getting to know each student and encouraging each student on their own journey. I hope students know that whether they are doing one show for fun, or want to continue in theatre/music/art/dance that they have a home at Carpe Artista. Outside of theatre I love laughing, crafting, traveling, and playing games.

Vickie Reifsnider
Assistant Director
Vickie Reifsnider is an instructor in the Department of Performing Arts for East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She is the director of the ECU Showtime which is the on-call show choir that is a tool for recruiting purposes for the university. Ms. Reifsnider has a bachelors of Music education, masters of Education, bachelors in Art, and a masters of Musical Theatre. She was the president of the Ada Community Theatre for 20 years, and was given the Adan in Arts award for her contribution in the arts for the community. She is the founder and director of the ACT II Youth Drama Camp for 21 years and has written and produced 14 original plays, musicals, and one acts.

Brittany Trail
Assistant Director
Brittany Trail is the manager of Lonnie’s Western Room, a karaoke bar in Nashville, TN. She moved to Tennessee in 2011 from Oklahoma; where she began acting at the age of 7. She played the role of Tiny Tim in A Christmas Carol. Since then she has been in over 35 productions. She has a passion for the Arts and loves to be a part of the action. She loves traveling the world and finding new adventures!
