I love bringing together students and adults of varying backgrounds and talents and working towards one goal. Each show or trip we take creates relationships that will last a long time. I hope students know that whether they are doing one show for fun, or want to continue in theatre/music/art/dance that they have a home at Carpe Artista. I love crafting, traveling, and playing games when I am not working on a show.

I love working with the students and seeing their passion for the arts.Everyone is so supportive of each other and it’s so fun to see everyone come together and work toward a common goal. Spending time with my family is huge; I also love a good board or card game! My students inspire me. They’re so incredibly amazing and talented and watching them pursue and reach their goals is so wonderful!

I love getting to be a part of each student's journey. The arts educators I had growing up made a huge difference in my life and greatly impacted who I am today both personally and professionally. I hope to have that kind of an impact with our students at Carpe Artista. I love watching our students find their passions and hone their craft. Watching them grow as a performer is so rewarding, whether that is throughout the course of one show or across years of doing shows with Carpe and/or in schools. I hope our students always remember that God is the source of their talents and their provider of every opportunity to share those talents. I pray they would always honor him with their gifts! Outside of Carpe Artista, I enjoy performing, being involved with LifePoint Church Riverdale, traveling, and trying new restaurants. I am a wife and mother (Everett,5, and Emery, 3) and a fourth-grade teacher for Rutherford County Schools.
