Directors Notes
As I decided to direct my first musical, I was a little more than terrified. Over the years I had watched many different and talented directors pull show after show off and in grand style. I truly had no idea how they did it. In my case, it was through an amazing, colaborative effort and scores of talented people from every walk of life. I was exceedingly lucky to welcome back Lynnea Young to be our music director. She led a group from Southeast Warren that are now treasured members of the Carousel community. Heather Iverson joined us as the pit orchestra director and she was remarkable at putting together a very talented group of musicians. Her work has been exceptional. Todd Klocke served as the assistant director and a jack of all trades of all things theater. Jade Henry has joined us once again assisting with props as well many other duties. Rich and Judy Rogers were technical and costume directors respectively. As always, their work was exemplary. We were also quite lucky to have an intern from Ames who joined us as a stage director and all-around good guy, Seth Levings. D.C. Felton and Deb Hade worked tirelessly to do whatever was needed, from promotion to programs to t-shirts. Emily Coffey was willing to step up and add additional chorography. Also, special mention should be made for our rehearsal pianists, Karrie Tate and Ben Sides. Lastly, Molly Larche, yes my daughter, was involved in almost every facet of the show, She was not only an actor in the show, but was also choreographer, designed the posters, t-shirts, program covers and much more. Added to this formidable group, are 34 multi-talented singers, actors, dancers and hard workers.
If this show fails to measure up to past productions, the fault is 100% mine. But I truly don’t believe this is possible with our people. If the show comes close to some of its predecessors, and I believe it will, the accolades should go to all those mentioned above. Finally, with the loving support of my wife, Michele, and my daughter, Molly, it seems we do have a show to present to you. I truly hope you will enjoy the show. THANKS FOR COMING!!

Music Directors Notes
What a blessing it has been to work with this outstanding group of performers. It seemed that every part matched perfectly with a member of this troupe. How exciting to take a step back in time to experience the contrast between the music of Broadway's past and the Broadway of today. Mix this with the wit of an awesome script and choreography that makes everyone feel like dancing and you will have a show that will be etched in your memory long after you leave the auditorium. It is a great way for us to remember the evolution of the music of our past and to envision the future. Thanks for allowing us to share the special joys created by this cast and this show.
