 Who's Who - 8th Graders

  • McKenzee Easton head shot

    McKenzee Easton

    as Polly Pepper

Kenzee has been singing and performing since she was 5, and is a 2019 NYA award winner for “Outstanding Supporting Actress”. She is grateful for the opportunity to play the lead this year. "It’s been a challenge but worth the hard work". Kenzee cherishes the amazing experience being in 4 of Candeo's shows & is sad to finally say goodbye to this theater program. She has loved each show and the different casts so much. Each cast has some sort of connection and she is going to miss that. Mrs Easton, her mom is one of the best directors she has ever had. She’s a director that cares about the cast and pushes the actors to do their best. She couldn’t have done any of this without her.

  • Beauden Updike head shot

    Beauden Updike

    as Buke Wayne

Beauden has loved to sing from an early age and has a talent for picking up instrument's quicky.  Flapper is Beauden‘s third production with Candeo. In Fussun-n A Feudin, he was a lead dancer & ensemble. Last year as John, he was taken captive by the lovely Lady Prates. Beau is excited about his first lead roll in this years production.  As Buck Wayne, Beau plays a handsome, young, rich cowboy that makes the ladies swoon. Beau would like to thank Mrs. Easton for trusting him with this character and giving him this challenging opportunity, and his parents for their constant support.

  • Ashton Grayson head shot

    Ashton Grayson

    as Duke of Milford

The Musical “Flapper” is Ashton’s third play at Candeo, but it is his 6th play in total. He is very excited to play the Duke of Milford, as this character is different from any other he has played before. He would like to thank Mrs. Easton, who has pushed him to become the best actor possible. He would also like to thank his family, who support him in any choices he makes.
