DANCE EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS
The Dance Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students who have been part of the Burnaby South Dance program since grade 10. Only Grade 12 students who have completed a dance course in grades 10, 11, and 12 are eligible in their graduating year. Recipients are selected based on their personal dance journeys, which encompass their growth in dance technique, physical development, leadership skills, choreographic abilities, teamwork capacity, personal accountability both inside and outside the studio, passion for the arts, and their pursuit of dance excellence. It's important to note that recipients are not required to pursue dance in post-secondary education to receive this scholarship. The funds can be used towards entry fees, textbooks, or special summer programs.
