This production is dedicated to a true prioneer of women,

Katherine (“Katie”) Coplen Bourg, 36, of Metairie, LA who passed away on April 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous two-year battle with brain cancer. Katie’s passion in life was musical theater. She was a lifelong participant in the local theater community where she shined through both her art and friendship. After attending Ecole Classique and Louisiana State University, she began her career at Carrigee Moore Levy & Flynn. Then after attending University of Holy Cross, she became a teacher at Trinity Episcopal where she taught third grade and pre-school music and drama. She brought to the classroom the inspiring energy and enchanting appeal that she spent her life crafting on stage. Katie was an animated and caring teacher whose magic touched the lives of many students. Her students will always remember her whimsical approach to teaching and her beautiful voice during school chapel. Her friends and family will always remember her goofy sense of humor and her fierce devotion. Ultimately Katie achieved her goal for her legacy to be her children, whom she imbued with her love, courage, and vitality.
