NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR:

I am beyond proud of how amazing this company has worked together to tell a fun, inventive and heartfelt story. A successful show is only so because of the level of commitment, dedication and collaboration that is put into it. We have the best cast and crew who put aside their ego and had fun making this a magical show.

To my company, you have no idea how proud I am of each and everyone of you. It has been a joy to direct you guys. You have worked so terribly hard to make this a show to remember. I want you to know that you can slay giants, make a wish and see it come true, as well as learn things you never knew before. When life gets tough, remember, you are not alone, no one is alone. Never forget, there is magic in the theatre and the theatre is magic, and truly blessed are those who are able to share their talents with others. If not now, when? If not you, who? Break a leg!

To my seniors, thank you for taking a risk with a new theatre teacher. You guys stunned me with your talent and leadership. Watching your work, blows my mind. I cannot wait to see what you bring to the world when you leave this place. Advice for the road.

1. Embrace change: It's going to happen whether you like it or not, use it as an opportunity to grow.

2. Keep learning: Never loose the hunger to know more. "Knowledge is power!"

3. Cultivate kindness: Invest in the relationships around you, they more than double in interest.

4. View the world with childlike wonder: Never let go of your youthful spirit, carry it with you all your life and you will see the world as a beautiful place in spite of the hard times.

To my family, thank you for loving me well and putting up with my craziness. Avalyn and Jude, thanks for letting mommy spend a lot of time at the school, working with other kids to make this an awesome show. You helped keep my students entertained on Wednesdays rehearsals when dada's at choir practice. Handsome, thank you for believing in me and pushing me to do what you knew was possible. I love you bigger than godzilla, all the way to the moon, to infinity and beyond, to the ends of the earth.

To the audience, I hope you enjoy your visit into the woods and will come back to see us in our next adventure in the spring.

With gratitude,

Jamie Keeler
