Ellie Ergenzinger
as Tracy Turnblad
Ellie Ergenzinger is a senior and is extremely excited to be a part of Broughton’s production of Hairspray! She has really enjoyed the experience of trying something new and expanding her artistry. Ellie is currently the president of the Broughton Dance Company, Captain of the Dance Team, Hip Hop Team, and Tap Club, and is a member of NHS Dance. She is also a member of the Core company at CC and Company Dance Complex. After high school, Ellie plans on attending college in order to obtain a BFA in dance performance and choreography. She would like to thank all of the other performers for being so welcoming, Ms. Graves, Mr. Clifton, and Ms. Conley for their leadership, and her mom and sister for their never ending love and support.

Clay Bradford

Clay E. Bradford is honored to take part in the amazing and inspirational show, Hairspray. He has previously performed in North Raleigh Theatre's Les Miserablé as well as Beauty and the Beast, Martin GT Magnet Middles' The Music Man, The Lion King, and Once Upon a Matress. Clay is currently attending Broughton as a Sophomore involved in Band and Chorus.

Spencer is a senior at Broughton. Some of his favorite roles include Michael in Be More Chill, Daddy Murphy in Bright Star, the Baker in Into the Woods, and Lennie in Of Mice and Men. He would like to thank his parents and the production team for their amazing help.

Shayla Zion is excited to take part in the production of Hairspray! She is beyond honored to be playing the part of Penny in her first musical and thankful to participate in the wonders of theatre, dance, and music at BHS! She will be soon joining International Thespian Society for the first time this March! Shayla is currently a junior in the IB Diploma Program and National Honors Society. She is involved in aCapella, Safe Club, and Drama Club. She greatly appreciates the directors and the people who made this show happen. Enjoy the show!
