    Stephen Durosaye

    This is Stephen's first year of being apart of the academy. Even though he is mostly apart of the Speech team which is part of the academy. Stephen has won many awards, including first place in DUO with Kadeem Penny and Humorous Interpretation in the Speech State Tournament in April 14th. He was also on the Junior Varsity Basketball Team.

    Sound Effects/ Builder

    Kadeem Penny is in first year of being sound designer and set crew. Although this is his first year in set crew Kadeem has taken on a big responsibility as sound designer. Besides set crew he has participated in speech where he has won many awards and is now state champ. Kadeem is very excited about working with the people he adores and he hopes this play exceeds everyone's expectations.

  • Ashli Barnes

    Stage Manager

    Ashli is now in her second year of the Academy. Last year was her first year in doing behind the scenes work which she did for the school play "Le Mis". Now in her second year she has tackled two things which are;Stage Manager and set crew. Ashli is grateful for Bronx Prep providing so many programs that help enhance different skills the students here possess.

    Head of Costumes/ Dancer

    Ashley has been a participant in the Performing Arts Academy for her fourth year this spring both on and off stage. But this year is her first year juggling both positions, a dancer and Head of Costume Design. She is grateful to have a loving theater teacher, Ms. Q, who was always there when she was in need, especially when schedules got hectic and she really needed support in the costume area.

  • Yamslee Hernandez

    Co-Prop Manager

    Yamslee is sad but proud to be finishing off her year in the Performing Arts Academy with a musical that really is home for her. After tackling roles of stage manager and props manager in past presentations, Yamslee feels accomplished to be departing from the BP halls making such an impact. She is grateful for all of the artistic coaches and especially Ms. Q for standing as a significant figure.
