    Director

    Kristy Boelter (Teacher). Kristy Boelter has been teaching Drama for 20 years. Of this production, she says, “I like that we can compare something as big as the universe of the apocalypse to a Middle School environment.” She has been working with actors of all ages for years. “I really like working with kid actors because they have no fear and know how to have fun.” Kristy hopes to convey that “we all have a monster inside of us”. Her favorite part of rehearsal is when we are so tired we can laugh about anything.

    Production Asst.

    Liv Brazill (Teacher). Liv Brazill has 22 years of experience in acting. She likes everything about this play and really appreciates “watching the 7th graders of the play last year bloom and come into their own as 8th graders this year.” Liv has written plays and short films along with a bit of acting. Liv hopes to convey how talented these students are.

    Production Asst.

    Issy Sampson (8th Grade):  Issy is an 8th grader who has worked on the play production staff for both years of their middle school career. Issy is Kristy’s “right-hand man” during the play and is responsible for memorizing the script, pacing, blocking, and director’s notes for all of the actors. Issy has many hobbies including horseback riding, singing, and writing their first book. Issy’s favorite classes are math and art.

    Kevin Slee (Teacher). Kevin Slee has been doing performing arts for 15 years “I like how this writing reflects our students’ generation. I think Kristy did a great job adapting this play full of funny references and I think it will have a lot of acting and laughter” Kevin said. He majored in film producing with an emphasis & directing. “I have worked a lot in film and TV. I spent many years representing talent”. Kevin hopes to show that every department is equally important and it's not just about those people on the stage.
