Narnia the Musical - March 01 - March 03, 2019

Bridgeport High School

  End Notes

Notes from the Director:

Directing this show has been an adventure that I will never forget. This play has been close to my heart for many years. When I was a junior in high school, I played Mrs. Beaver in our school's production of Narnia The Musical. I remember my journey through the wardrobe, learning the music, making costumes and performing for many audiences of children.

I'm so thrilled to get the chance to share this musical with another generation of students. The cast and crew of this production are some of the most talented, enthusiastic, eager to learn, and hard-working students that I've had the blessing of work with. I am proud of each and every one of them. They have all worked so hard in this journey and their hard work has paid off.

So many students have put their hand on this show creatively. I am proud to have student prop designers, student costume designers, a student choreographer, student director, student publicists, and an entire class of theater students who have contributed to the beauty of this production.

I would like to thank my creative staff for helping me to put together this piece of art together and for bringing my vision to life. Without you this play would still just be a script and a vision, it certainly would not be a reality. Thank you for taking this chance with me and building this beautiful production.

Finally, I would like to thank my husband, my brother, my kids, and my family for putting up with me and helping to make this production success.

Thank you all for taking the journey through the wardrobe to the wonderful world of Narnia with us. Sit back relax and let our cast and crew transform the theater around you and take you to a world unlike any you have seen before. “Even I never dreamed of Magic like this!”
